I have been a Realtor with CENTURY 21 Langos & Christian since 1989 and I enjoy my job as a real estate consultant as much today as when I started selling real estate over 20 years ago. I am very committed to giving back to the communities that I serve. I am a trustee for the Des Plaines Community Foundation. We provide the Neighbors helping Neighbors Program. I also support the local PADS program for Des Plaines and Mount Prospect communities. I work with 1st time Home Buyers, short sales and foreclosures. I also specialize in the senior citizen community. I have a designation as a Senior Real Estate Specialist. I've enjoyed being a Real Estate Consultant for over 20 years! My success in real estate is attributed to experience, professionalism, and commitment to service in an area in which I enjoy living. Helping individuals find the right property is one of my strongest values. I have extensive knowledge of the real estate industry and our local marketplace. I take pride in my attention to detail and put all my efforts into understanding your needs. Seller reviewI wanted someone who was enthusiastic about my property but would price it realistically to sell. Knowledge of my area was very important and being able to communicate easily was a plus. I chose Jan Goczkowski because I felt we could (and did) work well together. She was always willing to answer any questions and help with referrals for work that needed to be done. I enjoyed getting to know her and appreciated all she did from beginning to end to make my home sell so quickly!

Seller reviewWhen I hire someone to do a job my expectation is simply that person does the job to my satisfaction. It is a pleasure (and rarity) that I hired an exceptional professional and exceptional human being, which Jan Goczkowski is both. As the Executor of my Brother's Estate, I was responsible for selling his town home and unfortunately there was a particular challenge that would have most likely driven any reasonable real estate agent to quit and certainly could have kept from selling the town home as quickly as Jan did. However, Jan went way beyond the "norm" dealing with a difficult situation, which is what makes her an exceptional professional. Even before I hired Jan, I had a sense that she was a kind and considerate person. However, she personally vested herself in facing the Estate's challenge to make sure the Estate's best interest was served within her role as the Estate's real estate agent. Of course, there are plenty of good and decent real estate agents. But, anyone looking for an exceptional professional and person, Jan Goczkowski provides both It was an Estate sale with a particular challenge that probably would have any other real estate giving up the listing, however, Jan went above and beyond "normal" expectations. I feel because Jan is an exceptional human being is one of the reasons she is an exceptional real estate agent.
