Julie and her husband grew up in Le Mars and lived in Colorado for 10 years before deciding to move back to Le Mars with their 2 young daughters. She says she loves being a "hometown, homegrown girl." She said she was inspired to enter real estate by the process of selling their current home. Julie responded promptly when I requested a meeting with her. She came prepared to explain the process of selling my home and clearly explained what would be expected of me, costs and all other details of listing. I would definitely recommend Julie Hurt to anyone I know who may be looking for a realtor to assist them in either buying or selling. She is very professional and easy to talk to. She doesn't hesitate to answer all questions and offer tips one may not think to ask about. All aspects of the sale of my house went well and I never doubted I was in good hands. A bonus, in my case, was that Julie and my daughter were classmates. It was fun for me to see them reconnect as adults with grown children of their own. Julie was my first choice to call when I had a house to sell as executor of an estate. I wasn't interested in trying to sell the home myself without a realtor. She made me feel very comfortable during the whole process, and took my stress level way down, by handing every detail! Julie handled the sale process with calm expertise. We knew we wanted Julie Hurt's expertise when if came to selling our home. Other people had the opinion that we should "do it ourselves", but selling a house is a big investment we didn't want to get wrong just to save a little money. She made the process so easy and took away a lot of the stress that comes from such a big undertaking. We loved that the home sold so quickly, and really felt like we were a priority for her. It may have only taken a few days to sell our house, but the time and effort Julie put in to preparing us and answering all our questions throughout the process really put us at ease. We knew that our home was in excellent hands.
