As a professional home stager, I know what it takes to get a house to sell and what buyers need to look for in searching for a new home! Having the knowledge to get a home "market ready" has helped me complete my Senior Real Estate Service designation to further assist clients with their downsizing needs. As an instructor on Downsizing and "Living Smaller" for the IRL program at Frederick Community College, I help all of our students with the daunting task of downsizing their homes to prepare for market. Seller reviewI was impressed with the Downsizing class Stacy Reno and her partner taught at FCC a couple years ago. There were many good ideas on this topic and suggested vendors and resources for helping with this, which I knew would be pertinent with dealing with my father's possessions before selling his condo. And most importantly Stacy impressed me as someone that I could probably work well with because there were many things to coordinate and get done before the property was ready for sale and afterwards. Stacy Reno was a pleasure to work with during the whole process from getting the condo ready for sale thru the sale and closing. The communication with her was always clear. I always knew where we were in the process, why we chose the initial sales price and the later negotiated sales price with the buyer. I felt like it was a partnership between Stacy Reno, Century 21 and myself. There were many things to coordinate, decide on and get done and all parties played their role or it would not have gotten done in the excellent manner in which it did.

Seller reviewStacy Reno worked incredibly hard to sell our house, bringing in furniture and artwork for staging, hiring a professional photographer who provided stunning photographs, hosting numerous open houses and a broker lunch. She had custom flyers made for each open house that she would push out online and provided to me to share with my online networks as well. Stacy was an excellent communicator and kept me well-informed. Not only did she use email and text, she actually called us frequently to speak in person. That is a rarity these days. And, she would start the call perfectly, "Everything is fine, I just wanted to let you know....." When we put the house back on the market in February, Stacy suggested getting an appraisal to ensure we priced the house right and she offered (and did) pay for half of that appraisal. We had an offer the 3rd day and closing in just over a month. I would highly recommend Stacy Reno as a listing broker because she is a hard worker, excellent communicator and a committed professional. She made us feel like we were her most important client!

This was our childhood home built by my father, and while the time was right to let it go, it helped to have a realtor understand just how much the home means to us. Stacy helped us navigate a seemingly impossible home clean out by suggesting an estate sale company. She suggested small updates like wallpaper removal, painting, and light fixture changes that made a big difference. She also is a certified stager and staged the home with her inventory to show off its best qualities! We trusted her input at every step, even having a seller's appraisal to price it just right since it is a unique property. Stacy worked hard on our behalf to negotiate an outcome that was agreeable for all parties. We feel great that someone loves our home and that we got a fair price! I highly recommend Stacy as a realtor who has excellent knowledge and cares about her clients.

Buyer reviewStacy was overwhelmingly patient with our family. We have 3 little kids and they needed to be with us for a lot of the showings. Not only did she help us find the perfect house for our family, but she was an absolute pro dealing with the kids as she showed us 20+ homes. Kids come with unique challenges- dirty feet, loud noises, running, and fits. She was a pro through it all. She even walked her way through some brush to try to find a key (to the house we ended up buying) when we thought my son had thrown it off the deck into brush. We found it in the backyard, but not before Stacy was knee deep in brush behind the fence looking for the key. She really went above and beyond. She is friendly, knowledgeable, and resourceful. Local knowledge of the neighborhood was critical to us in this purchase and even though we had lots of friends who were agents, we knew we needed someone who knew Lake Linganore so we chose Stacy. I would recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell. She really goes above and beyond.

Buyer reviewOur first impression with Stacy, we thought was was very patient and was willing to go extra miles to make sure we were satisfied. Absolutely we were right, i'm glad she contacted when i emailed her my phone. she was prompt and professional. the only reason we didn't miss out on our our house was because Stacy was there was for us. She literally introduced us to all the people we worked with; from the house inspector, the GC, the loan officer, etc. She made the ultimate call telling us to get another loan officer as the one we were working with wasn't coming forth. She got in touch with all the personnels to make sure our deadlines were extended, not once but twice. The house purchase was possible because of Stacy diligence. She's an outstanding broker. i'll definitely be recommending her to friends & relatives and i will be working with her again and again. we truly appreciate you, thanks so much Stacy!!!

After meeting with Stacy and Sharon to discuss our needs and to learn about their services and experience, my wife and I knew that we had found the right realtor. I liked the fact that suggestions for down-sizing were offered and that pre-sale improvement recommendation was offered. We are very satisfied with Stacy's performance from our pre-contract meetings, through staging, showings, and subsequent negotiations and settlement. Stacy was very helpful in helping us mitigate the delay caused by the unexpected flooding of our finished basement while our home was being offered for sale.
